Hello, My Movievaures! I hope you had a great week. I’m back with a new Netflix TV Show review: Florida Man. I’ve been very busy lately so any opportunity I have to watch new content is quite precious, so I was quite happy to discover this show as it was quite the experience. But first, let’s get to the non-spoilers part:

We follow Mike Valentine, a disgraced cop who is bound to mobster by a crippling debt. As the mobster’s girlfriend disappears and he is mandated to find her, the only clue he has leads him back to his past life in Florida. A series of events will turn upside down his goal of freedom.

I was truly surprised to see that this show didn’t have good reviews online, especially when you know how many bad shows Netflix has produced lately. I get is not a show for everyone and it has its defaults, but it is really entertaining from the beginning to the end.

What is truly enjoyable about Florida Man is that it goes straight to the point. It doesn’t try to be something it is not. The creators clearly wanted to make fun of the clichés on Florida and add a lot of fun into the series, while keeping the seriousness of the main plot line.

In short, seriously give it a try. The characters are well-written, and the storyline, though a bit predictable on some points has still some good twists that will surprise you. And one thing that I liked the most is that it was created to fit into one season and you know how much I love that. This is all for today My Movievaures. Let me know in the comments below your thoughts on this article. I’ll see you next week for the next review!
